On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, The Islamic Family Law Study Program held a signing eventImplementation of Agreement(IoA) with the Ujung Sub-district Religious Affairs Office. The event was held at the Ujung Sub-district Religious Affairs Office and was attended by campus representatives and staff from the Ujung Sub-district Religious Affairs Office.

The signing of this IoA is one form of real cooperation between higher education institutions and government agencies in supporting the implementation of the tridharma of higher education, specifically in the fields of education, research, and community service. This cooperation is also expected to strengthen institutional relationships between the Islamic Family Law Study Program and the Religious Affairs Office in various academic and social community activities.

The signing was conducted directly by the Head of the Islamic Family Law Study Program, Dr. Hj. Sunuwati, Lc., M.HI., with the Head of the Ujung Sub-district Religious Affairs Office, H. Muhammad Said, S.Ag. On this occasion, both parties expressed their hope that the cooperation established would not be limited to the signing of documents, but could also be realized through various programs that are beneficial for students and the community.

Through this IoA, the Islamic Family Law Study Program and the Ujung Sub-district Religious Affairs Office agreed to mutually support each other in the implementation of activities related to Islamic family law counseling, marriage guidance, community assistance, student field practice, and educational activities related to Islamic law and family resilience. In addition, the Religious Affairs Office is also expected to contribute as a resource person in academic activities on campus, while the study program can support Islamic law education activities in the community.

The event took place in a warm and familial atmosphere. After the signing process was completed, the event continued with a brief discussion about future cooperation opportunities and a joint documentation session as a symbol of the commitment established between the two institutions.

This cooperation is expected to be a first step in creating a synergistic relationship between the academic world and religious service institutions, thus being able to provide a positive contribution to the development of Islamic family law and community service more broadly.
